The 90° Long Radius Buttweld Elbow, made from durable materials, is designed for use in demanding applications where temperatures can be extremely high or low. Stainless Steel 90 Degree Long Radius Weld Elbows, particularly in grade 316, are ideal for such conditions because they maintain their mechanical and physical properties even at high temperatures, making them suitable for environments with elevated heat levels.

Steel Buttwelding Pipe Fittings, like the 90 Degree Elbow and Bends, are designed for applications requiring full service pressure. The DIN 2605 standard for a 90 Degree Elbow Type 3 specifies the design and dimensions for seamless and welded steel elbows and bends, ensuring they can handle the same internal pressure as the connected pipes.

Additional services can be provided based on the buyer’s requirements, including processes like Galvanizing, Heat Treatment, Drawing, Expansion, Machining, Sand Blasting, and Shot Blasting. The delivery conditions for the DIN 2605 Stainless Steel 90 Degree Compression Elbow include options like Machined, Normalizing Rolled, Thermomechanical Rolled/Formed, As Rolled, Normalizing Formed, and Normalized and Tempered/Quenched and Tempered.

Tolerances and Specifications

The weakest point on a 90 Degree Pipe Elbow is the inside radius. ASME B16.9 Elbow 90 Sch 40 standardizes the center-to-face dimensions and certain squareness tolerances, as well as the weight of the 90 Degree Elbow. The wall thickness at the weld line location of the Elbow 90 Sch 80 is standardized, but not across the rest of the elbow. The minimum wall thickness tolerance is within 12.5% of the ordered wall thickness, with maximum tolerance specified only at the ends of the fitting.
