Latrolet Suppliers
Latrolet fittings are specialized branch connections used in piping systems. They belong to the same family as other branch fittings but are designed for connections that are not at a 90-degree angle to the main pipe. Latrolets are available with butt weld, threaded, or socket weld connections, and the ends are beveled to make the welding process easier.
Developed by Kaizen Steel Industries, Latrolets are self-reinforced fittings used when a branch needs to connect at a 45° angle or another specific angle, depending on the requirements. They are part of a broader range of branch fittings that allow a larger pipe to connect with a smaller one, replacing the need for reducing tees, reinforcing plates, or other reinforced sections.
Other common types of branch fittings include Weldolet, Thredolet, Sockolet, Elbolet, Nipolet, Sweepolet, and Flangolet. These fittings are popular due to their safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of installation.
