Union Reducing Tee
Table of Content
Reducing tee fittings are important components in plumbing and piping systems. They connect three pipes of different sizes, and their shape resembles the letter “T,” with one inlet and two outlets. The unique feature of a reducing tee is that one of the outlets is smaller than the others, allowing pipes to reduce in size.
These fittings are often used when you need to branch off from a main pipeline while also changing the pipe size. They are commonly found in water distribution systems, HVAC systems, and industrial processes. The larger inlet of the reducing tee connects to the main pipeline, and the two outlets allow for smaller pipes to be attached. This setup helps control the flow of fluids or gases and offers flexibility in how pipes are arranged.
Types of Reducing Tees:
- Stainless Steel Reducing Tee Fittings
- Carbon Steel Reducing Tee Pipe Fittings
- Copper Nickel Tee Fittings
- Nickel Alloy Reducing Tee Fittings
- SS 304 and SS 316 Reducing Tees
- Alloy Steel Reducing Tee Pipes
Reducing tees are versatile pipe fittings that come in materials like copper, brass, stainless steel, and plastic. They are used to connect pipes of different sizes and branch off from a main pipeline. These fittings are made to industry standards such as ANSI, ASTM, or DIN to ensure they work well with other pipe components.
We manufacture, supply, and export reducing tee fittings used in various industries. Our reducing tees come in four types to suit different applications. We use high-quality materials for our fittings, especially in electrical and air conditioning industries. Our products are in demand and widely used by clients for various purposes.
Our reducing tees are produced according to ASME/ANSI B16.9, ASME B16.28, and MSS-SP-43 standards. We also provide value-added services to improve their quality. For example:
- Surface Treatments: Hot Dipped Galvanizing, Epoxy & FBE Coating, Electro Polish, Sand Blasting, Threading, and Soldering.
- Enhanced Qualities: Galvanized reducing tees have a thick zinc coating, and fittings can be coated with black paint or anti-rust oil for better corrosion resistance.
